Stellantis Group announced the appointment of Almajdouie Motors Company as the exclusive agent for the Citroën brand in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This expansive partnership comes as part of Stellantis' ongoing efforts to strengthen its relationships with partners and expand its offerings in the Middle East region. The anticipated return of Citroën to the Saudi markets was announced at an official signing ceremony held on this occasion, attended by Samir Cherfan, Chief Operating Officer of Middle East and Africa at Stellantis Group, and Youssef Bin Ali Almajdouie, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Almajdouie Motors Company, in addition to a number of senior executives from both parties. The signing ceremony was held at the Stellantis Group headquarters in Casablanca, Kingdom of Morocco. Almajdouie Motors Company is expected to commence Citroën brand sales in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during the first quarter of 2023. The Citroën models available at launch will include: Citroën C3 Aircross, Citroën C4, Citroën C5 Aircross, and Citroën Jumpy. This coincides with the launch of the all-new electric Citroën C4 X, aligning with Stellantis' Dare Forward 2030 strategy and the group's ambitious goals for the Middle East and Africa to convert 100% of Stellantis' vehicle portfolio to electric cars by 2025.
